About me

I have always had art in my life. Growing up, music was probably the first thing I truly understood. I started playing piano, then flute, then guitar. My dad was always very musical and is a strong driving force behind my appreciation for art and music. He would always teach me to slow down and appreciate things, whether that was Christopher Cross playing on the radio or a deer grazing in a field. Later, I found a love for taking pictures and drawing. Through pictures, I discovered that nothing could be as good as the real thing, but with good lighting and a good camera for a moment looking at a photograph, you can feel what it was like to be there again. In drawing, I found peace. Peace in knowing that each stroke is my own, that there is no right or wrong. I hope you enjoy my art, as I enjoyed making it.
